I Wrote ‘Altered States’ poem, and 'Obituary for Britain', to express my views on the current events which are changing our country, and my personal experiences and observations of these events. Some of these events have affected me directly and others are just observations of things that are going on unnoticed to most people, but will eventually change the lives of every one of us. Until the last few years I had no interest in politics and had no preference for any party. I rarely bothered to vote in elections. I naively believed that we lived in a democratic and politically honest country, and which ever party was in government, they would act in the best interests of the people and country. However, over the last few years I have had cause to question certain decisions made by my local council, in Yorkshire. I got involved with a local campaign against the closure of 2 local secondary schools and their replacement with one of the government’s new ‘academy schools’. I started to ask questions about the people involved with setting up the new academy school, the proposed sponsors for the new school, and the council’s arrogant attitude during the so called ‘consultation with the local community. One of the secondary schools was in ‘special measures’ but the other school was a very successful C. of E. state aided school, and there was no justification in closing either school, as the proposed academy was not going to have the intake capacity of the other 2 schools. I soon discovered that the council were spending the council tax payer’s money to fund a massive marketing campaign for the new academy. They were regularly sending out glossy colour booklets to all houses in the local area, on the wonders that the new academy would bring to the community! There were articles in the local newspaper praising the proposed new sponsors, and then the council started bringing in surveyors and curriculum planners for the new school,- all this out of the council tax payers money and before anything had been officially decided! I found out that the company that was brought in to do the ‘feasablity study and curriculum planning' were already on the council’s payroll as they did all the council’s internal auditing and annual accounts. I stated that this was a direct ’conflict of interests’, as they would say anything the council payed them to say! I wrote a letter to the local newspaper stating my concerns over the academy, which they published. I had previously written to my local MP. (Labour), and even Gordon Brown! who passed it on to the D.C.S.F. It was at this point that I received several strange phone calls warning me that I should ‘back off’ with my investigations or things could get very dangerous for me and my family. I was unable to trace the senders of the calls. A few days later, I was given a web address by a caller which they said, would explain everything. It was Brian Gerrish’ video on ‘common purpose’. a group I had never heard of until then. After doing some more searching I found out that the local council, the company doing the feasability study, and the proposed leading sponsor were all listed on various websites as being members and/or sponsors of Common Purpose! Needless to say, I have kept a low profile since then, but am still keeping an eye on things going on with the council and CP. In fact, my local council are now listed on CP’s own website as major sponsors of the organization! This has led me on a steep learning curve on which I have uncovered corruption and misuse of tax payers money on a grand scale. I have now changed my political views completely and am now very anti- EU, and a lot more wiser for my experiences and discoveries! If only the rest of Britain would open their eyes to the corruption all around them before it’s too late.
Iit is time someone coordinated all the different anti EU/anti-corruption groups as one movement so we can start to make a difference.
One movement, common people, without a ‘common purpose’! Just seekers of honesty and truth.
In the words of William Wallace, “we must unite the clans!”

Obituary for Britain.
OBITUARY FOR BRITAIN.
Our fathers built us an empire great.
With cities grand, and welfare state.
A greater nation you never did see.
To better our lives, and our liberty.
They worked the mines for heat and power,
and worked the mills for such long hours.
They smelted iron to cast the plough,
and earned the freedoms we all know now.
Then came men from over the sea.
They saw this prize and went away,
and returned with armies, ships and planes,
but their intentions failed in vain.
We stood our ground and held it fast,
for six long years the siege did last,
though many fell, we did not give way,
and we honour the lost, on remembrance day.
Through years of peace, we toiled and gained,
our prosperity and growth sustained.
While devious foes, with envious eyes,
among us came, in friendly guise.
In contented lives and ignorant bliss,
we did not taste their poisoned kiss.
Like a plague, the corruption spread,
our economy ravaged, whole towns left dead.
Too late, we realised our plight.
Fortunes lost and squandered overnight,
and with the morning, another news story,
no jobs, no homes, no rights, no glory.
What traitorous leaders, and sleight of hand!
To deceive us all, and betray our land.
This privilege bestowed in trust to hold,
all credibility lost in your greed for gold.
I walked the streets of an empty town.
I passed the shops, all now shut down.
Although I saw people in the streets,
not a hopeful gaze did my eyes meet.
Some ragged cloth, in an overfilled skip.
Blowing in the wind, like a stranded ship.
A ragged woman stuffed a carrier bag,
with old clothes for her scrawny lad.
I found a flag, ‘The Union Jack’,
and feeling cold, wore it on my back.
It kept me warm all through the night,
and I folded it up at first daylight.
I walked out onto a country fell.
A beloved place that I knew well.
I dug a hole and then I prayed,
and laid the flag down in it’s grave.
I buried it deep down in the earth,
then covered it with fresh green turf.
I turned and left with heart enraged,
as I laid to rest our heritage.
My loyalty, I’ll no longer bestow,
unto a government that sinks so low.
It will take a lifetime to regain the trust,
of people, whose lives and hopes you crushed.

Altered States
ALTERED STATES.
The hungry wolves of the EU police state,
are gathering outside our gates.
Ravenous creatures need their fill,
ready now, to make their kill.
Thunderstorms are rumbling, and North winds bring a chill.
Clouds burst over cities, and swamp factories and mills.
Houses are flooded with the deluge of rain.
The Government cries “global warming again!”
“We’ll raise fuel taxes and make people pay,
for their ‘carbon emissions’ as they are to blame!”
With every news headline there’s a new shock in store, we’ll all have to pay that little bit more.
For an EU directive to spin out more lies,
and more on-street cameras to watch over our lives. DNA database nightmares, it’s too much to take.
All this surveillance and one small mistake.
“We’ve lost all the data.” Oh! Give us a break!
We’ve all had enough! We can’t take anymore!
“You can’t criticise government or protest anymore, that’s political subversion and your breaking the law!” They warn us again of the crime on our streets,
and put up the taxes to pay for more police.
“There are enemies among us.”
Yes we know, you keep telling us,
but it’s not religious zealots or suicide bombers.
The enemy around us has come in disguise.
A chameleon among us, with ‘all seeing eyes’.
They have ‘common purpose’ and communist spies.
Their ultimate goal is to control all our lives.
From EU HQ to the local town halls,
they corrupt and embezzle and infiltrate all.
This land we choose to call our home,
our constitution overthrown,
as our traitorous leaders sign away,
our British nation and our ways,
and all of this without our say!
With devious treaties, themselves empower,
more freedoms lost with every hour.
They try to corrupt our children’s minds,
through academies teaching political lies.
The political indoctrination of our youth,
they hope to recruit future leaders and spies.
So let us fill our peoples hearts,
with tales of our great heroes past,
and hope it sparks a fire inside,- and a new found pride, in this empire that we reside.
So people of the towns and farms,
be ready for the call to arms.
Soon or late, the day will come,
so be prepared as it draws near,
drive out the tyrants who rule with fear,
these hungry beasts that feast,
upon this land we hold so dear….
…...The evil seeds were sown,
in our culture, the rot went deep.
We used to sing ‘Rule Britannia,
but are now afraid to speak.
For fear of being called racist,
or offending religious beliefs.
When all around us, madness reigns,
we turned our faces from the storm.
And while we all lay sleeping,
the devious ones who have no shame,
betrayed our trust and came to reap,
a once proud nation of men,
they harvested our souls,
and created a nation of sheep.
But the reckoning day has come at last,
time to cast aside our fleece,
and stand up for our rights.
These ‘sheep’ have still got teeth,
calling all free men of Britain,
lets show them the bulldogs still bite!
